If youre eager to work on challenging projects that uses cutting-edge technology to transform the future of healthcare, this is your chance to join a truly remarkable team.Position Summary:Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, the Accounting Analyst will play an integral role supporting the accounting function and performing accounting activities in cash, prepaid and grant accounting process areas. The successful candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment interacting with all levels of our organization, international team members, and external auditors.All About YouTasks and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile cash accounts on a weekly/monthly basis, including generating journal entries and other month-end close duties.
- Prepare all accounting related to the Companys derivative instruments including mark-to-market journal entries, record settlement execution and perform variance analysis on a monthly basis.
- Perform prepaid capitalization review, record required reclass journal entries.
- Obtain an understanding of the awarded grants/incentives, prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations in relation to grant accounting as part of month-end close activities
- Responsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley internal control narratives and testing documentation for areas of responsibilities.
- Participate in quarterly review and annual audit.
- Participate in grant/incentive certification activities

Education and Experience:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required. CA, CPA a plus
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
