Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations (e.g. bank, suspense, prepayments, and etc.) with high accuracy and completeness
- Identifying and documenting exceptions in reconciliations and escalating unresolved items to senior team members
- Maintaining proper audit trails and supporting documentation for all reconciliations
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders in Finance teams to clarify variances and resolve issues
- Supporting process improvement initiatives, including automation of transaction matching and system enhancements
- Assisting in audit (incl. year-end audit preparations, internal control reviews) and ad hoc tasks as assigned
The Person
- Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (insurance industry experience is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Oracle is an advantage
- Knowledge of visual analytics tools (e.g. SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
