Job description: The Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to join a dynamic team. The firm is open to hiring at different levels — whether you’re currently part-qualified and progressing through your exams, recently qualified, or a seasoned professional with years of experience in practice.Key Responsibilities:Depending on your experience level, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparation of annual financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasts
• Preparation and submission of tax returns (Corporation Tax, VAT, Income Tax, PAYE)
• Bookkeeping and payroll services for clients
• Supporting client audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Liaising directly with clients to provide day-to-day support and financial advice
• Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work (for senior applicants)
• Supporting partners and managers with ad hoc advisory or consultancy projects

Key Requirements:

• Part-qualified, newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA), or fully qualified with practice experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting and tax compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused attitude
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Surf, Sage, Xero, or similar)
