Job description: Nu-Tank is a family-owned business that started in 2008, we supply superior products, deliver top tier customer service and most importantly give back to our community.Nu-Tank manufactures polyethylene tanks, feeders and troughs. Retailing water tanks, molasses and dunder tanks, diesel storage tanks, transport, industrial tanks, firefighter units, wet and dry lick feeders, water and molasses troughs, pumps and accessories, round steel tanks and self-bunded tanks.Nu-Tank is seeking Accountant (General) to join their team of professionals in a full-time and permanent.The role includes but is not limited to:
Provide oversight of the over-all finance function including taking responsibility for the general ledger and balance sheet reviews
Provide assistance and contribute in creating budgetary, accounting policies and forecasting activities
Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax returns for internal and external customers
Prepare management reports on a regular basis for presentation to boards of directors, management, and shareholders
Review operating costs, income, and expenditure making sure it is within the company’s budgetary plans and means
Ensure the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and its compliance with statutory requirements
Perform due diligence when advising on matters such as purchase and sale of business, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency and taxation
Ensure the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and its compliance with statutory requirements
Manage the day-to-day relationship with clients and liaising with team leaders and directors as and when required
Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Participate in the annual internal and external auditing processes to ensure that appropriate systems are in place and maintained
Ad hoc finance administration projects as required by the Financial Controller or CFOTo be considered for this role you must have:
At least 5 years’ work experience in the same field
Knowledge in various accounting software is highly desirable
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Demonstrated excellent organisational skills
Strong attention to details
Excellent communication skills
Excellent reporting skills
Self-motivated, highly organised, punctual and reliable
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Can work independently or as part of a team

Expected salary: $70000 – 75000 per year
