You will be working in a high energy environment with a diverse pool of co-workers from all around the world.The RoleJob Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant/Auditor to oversee our financial audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). This is a full-time, remote position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial oversight of a growing tech company while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Management: Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring all financial activities align with US GAAP standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and balance sheets for accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
  • Compliance Verification: Ensure all financial practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess areas of financial risk to the organization.
  • Control Systems: Recommend and implement improvements to internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.
  • Audit Documentation: Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for review by management and external auditors.
  • Fraud Detection: Investigate any discrepancies or irregularities in financial records.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest enhancements to financial processes and audit methodologies for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Training and Support: Educate staff on accounting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Compensation:

  • $400 per week for full-time work.

Ideal ProfileQualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Auditor with a deep understanding of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in audit-related software tools and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in audit work.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
  • Knowledge of audit procedures, standards, and regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with financial software like QuickBooks Online is advantageous.
