Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Purpose: To independently perform staff level accounting functions that deal with accounting issues of normal complexity to support business processes and provide further experience with Caterpillar accounting practices.Job Duties:The position is expected to be a contributing performer, performing financial/decision supportAccounting work that supports business processes, the duty includes but not limits to:Understanding of business and accounting practices, systems and procedures;Apply accounting knowledge to independently handle accounting issues;Demonstrate good communication skills, and be a trusted accounting advisor to business inquiriesReview and validate relevant data and data sources, analyze information for US reports and PRC reportsSupport interim and year end statutory audit and internal auditDevelopment and maintenance of accounting documentation, well compliance with SOX requirement;Interacts with multiple functional areas and business unitsFulfill other jobs assigned by Supervisor.Degree RequirementBachelor degree or equivalent experience desiredSkill DescriptorsAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Level Extensive Experience:

• Works with financial transactions and related documentation within the organization.

• Participates in accounting practices of classifying and recording financial data.

• Maintains existing charts of accounts.

• Follows regulations for entering and reporting the financial content in major accounting systems.

Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.Level Working Knowledge:

• Follows organizational practices and guidelines for product profitability reporting

• Performs margin analysis, forecast

• Analyzes errors or inaccuracies in financial reports.

• Uses basic tools to create simple financial reports.

• Monitors compliance with organizational standards for financial report writing.

• Implements organizational methods and procedures for financial report writing.
