this is a key-accounting role with immediate impactResponsibilities
– Oversee and execute the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
– Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, and inventory accounts.
– Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company accounting policies.
– Analyze cost accounting data, inventory valuation, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounts to support manufacturing operations.
– Utilize ERP systems to manage financial data, generate reports, and streamline processes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting and improve financial processes.Qualifications
– 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
– Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting.
– Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
– Experience in cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, and fixed asset accounting.
– Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
– CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification is a plus.Summary
