Explore our many venues, events, landmarks and business experiences atAs an Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales in for their assigned territory within the EMEA region in order to meet sales targets and KPI’s. Our Professional Solutions in EMEA are managed through a distribution network. Account Manager’s drive sales results by creating successful relationships with distribution and channel partners and leveraging these to create, manage and deliver effective sales plans, sales forecasts and budget/pricing activities within their territory.What You Will Do:
- To create, maintain and deliver sales business plans in alignment with distribution partners that is in line with sales targets and informed by regional business priorities and plans.
- Complete required business activities and reporting to demonstrate delivery of business plan and results and comply with business processes.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in distribution for their assigned accounts.
- Proactively work with assigned accounts to lead processes to build sales plans. Such as by working on performance objectives that are mutually beneficial and ensuring understanding of financial targets and critical activities and milestones during the year.
- Accurate Monthly Revenue Forecast to Management.
- Be the trusted face for your territory and market within HARMAN. Including by:
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships to support the sales process. Co-ordinate the involvement of internal colleagues when their involvement is required within processes or to support successful business results.
- Understand Harman’s audio visual (AV) product range/ portfolio and be able to effectively communicate and have business discussions.
- Be able to effectively report and present information to different internal audiences on your assigned accounts and territories.
- Be a trusted, credible representative and ambassador of HARMAN with your assigned accounts and and own these relationships on HARMAN’s behalf.
- Build and effective and productive relationship with key personnel with assigned accounts and with other external stakeholders such as integrators/retailers/rental houses within your territory.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the status and needs of assigned accounts and generally within with the AV industry within their territory.
- Be proactive in identifying issues affecting sales with their accounts and territories. Then engaging the right internal and external people and proposing viable solutions to deliver successful results.
- Ensuring the relevant product range and its applications are understood by your accounts.
- Ensure key people within your accounts have access to appropriate training and business resources.
- Create positive PR to grow the company’s reputation and brands within your accounts and territories.
- Accurately maintain required company systems and tools such as CRM and ensure appropriate internal and external reporting activities are complete accurately and on time.
- Additional ad hoc project work and activities to support business initiatives and success.
What You Need:
- Fluent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma or technical/industry certification within an AV discipline, business or sales. Or can demonstrate they are qualified through relevant job experience.
- Experience working within the audio visual (AV) market and experience working hands on with or selling products within this market.
- Work experience within at least one country within the territory for this role.
- Experience selling technology products business to business. Especially experience:
- Influencing customers and closing deals.
- Building and maintaining fruitful relationships customers.
- Credibly presenting technical information.
- Experience maintaining business systems and using them to get reports and tools particularly CRM.
- Experience developing and implementing plans and projects ideally within a business setting.
What is Nice to Have:
- Working in sales in a distribution sales model.
- Additional European or Middle East language skills.
- Understanding, experience or work experience with Harman Professional AV products.
What Makes You Eligible:
- Willingness to travel 60%+ of the time.
- Willingness to attend the office in Apsley, UK (EMEA HQ) for meetings.
