Job description: Job SummaryIn this role, you will become an integral part of a global valuation team. You will be responsible for development, maintenance and enhancements to valuation models, documentation and processes.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?

  • Develop understanding of various Financial Products and corresponding Valuation Methodologies by performing various IPV and VA tasks
  • Work on streamlining, automation and optimization of the processes employed by the department
  • Develop and enhance various Financial Models and Reporting Tools utilized in valuations
  • Provide programming expertise to support other ad-hoc valuation requests/projects

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • A desire to develop overall knowledge of Financial Markets and in-depth understanding of Financial Products
  • Proficiency with MS Excel. MS Access experience is desired
  • Programming experience, including model automation using VBA. Experience in C and SQL along with other
  • programming languages is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability for a 12-16 month term

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
